Tbilisi City Council has pledged its support for Earth Hour, the worldwide event demanding action on climate change, and the lights on the iconic TV Tower overlooking the city will be extinguished for one hour this Saturday evening.
At the last count more than 2,848 cities, towns and municipalities in 84 countries have already committed to VOTE EARTH for Earth Hour 2009, as part of the worlds first global election between Earth and global warming.
It is not too late for you to join the hundreds of millions of people asking for change – VOTE EARTH by simply switching off your lights for one hour, and join the world for Earth Hour on Saturday, March 28, 8:30-9:30pm.
